Visual Novel Developer
Immersive Storytelling about Scam Compounds and Trafficking in Asia
for Asian Dispatch
I created an interactive visual novel/game for an Asian Dispatch story about victims of “pig butchering scams” which put the reader in the shoes of such victims, to illustrate how people are tricked into scam compounds, financial fraud, and cycles of abuse. We chose to use this method of storytelling to destigmatize the issue, and create awareness about how common such cyber scams are becoming, and the variety of ways that people across Asia are being targeted.Explore the Story
