Database on U.S. Trade Tariff Impact across 51 Asian countries
as part of a story for Asian Dispatch
To assess the impact of the U.S. Trump Tariffs on Asia, I collected, judiciously verified, and analyzed data on the GDP of 51 countries, their exports to the U.S. and most affected industries. This database provides a truer representation of Asia’s dependence on the U.S. consumer market, as opposed to more sweeping generalisations drawn by West-centric news outlets.
