Training and Assessment Design
Recertification for 173 Google News Initiative Trainers
as part of a Google News Initiative project, administered by DataLEADS
Following the success of a nationwide data journalism training program led by me, I was tasked with creating a recertification training and assessment for every Google News Initiative trainer in India. I built an updated training on the topics of fact checking, geolocation, and more, along with an introduction to using LLMs, which were just becoming accessible to the public.
I also developed a graded assessment test for each trainer on these topics, which determined whether they could continue working with Google’s India Training Network.
